Exclusively for hotel residents, guests staying at Les Fermes de Marie will soon enjoy the privilege of spending unforgettable times high up in the mountains. Welcome to La Ferme de Bacré!
After taking the bridge to cross over the mountain stream, snow shoe up in winter or by-foot in summer, along the small path on a magical walk across mountain pastures, through the undergrowth, and discover this traditional wood and stone farmhouse. It is authentic and cosy and has a feel similar to lodges found in the Far North with festive dinners, deer antler ceiling lights, hunting trophies, patterned throws and patchwork cushions.
In winter, every tuesday evening, on the menu is the Sibuet family’s favourite: the famous potato fritters served with white Tomme cheese and local cured meats. And for dessert, it’s an impossible choice: meringue and double cream or blueberry tart! After a magical evening, it’s already time to head home: the more daring diners can try to sledge back down while the others opt for the tracked vehicle!
In the summer, meet every Wednesday and Friday evening for a cheese night and on Thursday and Saturday evenings to taste the Beef Lodge's specialities.
