The Pure Altitude Spa at Les Fermes de Marie

The pitch ? A true pioneer in mountain spas, the Pure Altitude area at Fermes de Marie remains a must on the issue! It was in 1990 that the Sibuet family inaugurated the mountain spa concept. Under the leadership of Jocelyne Sibuet, the concept of “Beauty Farm” developed and in 2000 gave birth to the Pure Altitude brand. Under this name, the Fermes de Marie spa extends over 1,000 m²², offers 17 treatment rooms, including a double cabin. Treatments based on mountain plants and natural active ingredients are used, including the signature Alp-Cells Repair treatment with gold leaf. The Alpine Energy Ritual combines manual maneuvers with the use of linen bags filled with salts and alpine plants, aimed at relaxing and rebalancing the body. To nourish and repair the skin, the Candle Ritual envelops the body in gentle warmth, diffusing Pure Altitude's signature Fleurs de Neige fragrance.

Do we particularly like it? Indoor and outdoor saunas, hot tubs, Japanese baths, the wood-heated Nordic bath and both indoor and outdoor pools, the Technogym fitness room and the hair salon..

But also? The very zen atmosphere induced by the environment made of wood, water and stone.

Good to know? Attention, the spa wellness area (swimming pools, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room...) is exclusively reserved for guests staying at the hotel. External customers can only access the treatment rooms (by appointment).

A hamlet of alpine farms

The hotel, set in a two-hectare park, consists of nine ancient century-old farms dismantled and then reassembled according to the rules of the art and linked together. Result: 70 rooms including 10 suites and 5 children's rooms where the common denominator is the warmth of old wood. We give a mention to the traditional restaurant, which offers hearty dishes such as free-range chicken supreme with truffled cream served with Savoyard Beaufort gratin or the unmissable truffle and ham shells.

During school vacations, play areas are arranged according to ages at the Hameau des Enfants. There is even a dining room for our darlings! A workshop even allows them to take cooking classes.
